The Sacred Heart Mission

The Corporate 2020 Cricket Series helps raise funds for The Sacred Heart Mission in St Kilda.

The Sacred Heart Mission began in 1982 to respond to an increasing number of people seeking food, emergency relief, clothing and accommodation.  The cornerstone of our services is the Meals Program which provides around 150 free breakfasts and 350 hot three-course lunches every day of the year. 

The Mission also provides a broad range of services and support including housing assistance, counselling programs, food parcels, emergency financial support, employment programs, sports and recreation activities, arts programs and drug and alcohol support.  

In addition to these services the Mission operates aged care facilities which are home to 83 residents, 11 room women only emergency accommodation and a 64 bed rooming house.

 This year fund raising activities include:

  • $100 per team entry will be donated to the Sacred Heart Mission. 
  • Friday Night BBQ - all net proceeds from the Friday night BBQ's will be donated to the Mission.
